June 22 @ 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm$5
Midsummer, Summer Solstice, is when the Earth’s poles have the maximum tilt toward the Sun. Only twice a year does this happen. During the summer solstice, the Sun reaches its highest position in the sky and it is the day with the longest period of daylight.
Come to the Summer Solstice Celebration at Nature Friends on Saturday, June 22, starting around noon, into the twilight hours. Jean Sudbury will host this event. Participate any way you want to, there will be live music, and impromptu artistic expression onstage all day.
Jean will play music and lead a few gentle yoga and creative meditation sessions throughout the event. All attendees are invited to participate in their own artistic fashion.
$5 Donation suggested.
