Terms and Conditions, Disclaimer Notice and Release of Liability
Nature Friends Los Angeles (NFLA) is a Private Membership Non-Profit Organization. Its facilities are NOT open to the general public. All Nature Friends activities are by invitation only.
By Participating in any NFLA event, you agree and accept the following Terms and Conditions.
The Nature Friends Los Angeles, (NFLA) its members, groups, officers and individuals, including any other people with whom you participate in any event, hike, meeting and/or any other social or recreational activities, and the club’s members, officers, guests, hike leaders or fellow hikers and/or any other persons that when acting in such capacity are all included here as the “NFLA.”
By reading and knowing of this notice, by using this website and/or by participating in any NFLA events, activities or meetings, you agree, with respect to all NFLA, as follows:
NFLA does not undertake, and does not have any responsibility, for the accuracy of any information provided or to determine or assure the suitability or health conditions or safety of any event, hike, meeting, camping, concert, potluck and/or other event or any related activity, in general or as to a particular person.
NFLA has no duty to provide medical or other assistance or advice to any individual.
Each person who participates in any NFLA event accepts full responsibility for making their own decisions and determinations for their own safety, health conditions, conduct and well being. Each person who participates in any NFLA event recognizes that possible health and safety hazards exist when attending any outdoor and/or indoor activities and agrees to participate solely at their own risk.
You on behalf of yourself and your heirs, assigns and minor children agree as set out above to release NFLA and agree to hold NFLA and any related person to that event harmless and free of blame for any accident, injury, illness or damage related to or arising out of or during any other event, including any and all claims and release any person associated with NFLA who provides assistance, advice or aid during a NFLA event from all liability for any act or omission in connection with such provision.
Dogs and Pets are not allowed at our facilities, except for certified and registered service animals. Dogs are still welcome on hikes, where owners must abide by local leash ordinances.
We reserve the right to refuse admittance to any person for any reason. Please call ahead before you visit our locations and arrange an appointment. Do not come unannounced. We often have private events at our locations, and we appreciate your not disturbing them with unannounced visits.
Nature Friends Los Angeles reserves the right to modify this notice at anytime.
